

About Me:
Ms. Mary Mutegi, is a Kenyan-American who calls Columbus, Ohio home. She graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a Masters of Arts in International Studies, along with Graduate Certificates in Health Policy, and Women & Gender Studies. In 2010, Mary started her journey in non-profit management at Physicians CareConnection, an affiliate of the Columbus Medical Association, where she was responsible for coordinating healthcare and social services for vulnerable individuals in Central Ohio. Mary is currently the HUB Project Manager at the HealthCare Collaborative of Greater Columbus, where she expounds her vast experience in healthcare coordination, project management, program implementation & evaluation, quality improvement, data analysis, personnel development, grant management, and partnership engagement. In her spare time, Mary volunteers in various capacities;
- Board member, Columbus Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS)
- Ohio Chapter member, Kenya Women in the United States (KWITU) • Member, Global Diaspora Development Foundation (GDDF)
- Secretary, Angaza Festival Mary enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Imani, while travelling and experimenting on different recipes in the kitchen.
